2020 Shenandoah Pinot Noir

$28.00

Ethereal / Strawberries & Cream / Petite & Crisp

This one surprised us all. Amador County is not known for growing Pinot Noir, but a secluded swale along Shenandoah Vineyard’s northern flank retains the cooler foothill evening air and nurtures a delightfully delicate and flavorful Pinot.

Bottled after 10 months in French oak barrels, its wonderfully bright color and delicate flavors of strawberry, blueberry, black tea leaves and baking spice will delight you. This food-friendly wine pairs nicely with smoked-mushroom pizza, braised duck, triple cream brie and pretty much anything imaginable. Alcohol 13.4%
