Lost Arrow Ranch rests on the alluvial, decomposed granite soils fanning out from the southern slopes of Mt. Aukum. Reflecting this origin, our 2017 Petite Sirah was hand-picked from the ranch’s 30-year old, head-trained vines, delicately destemmed - not crushed, naturally fermented with indigenous yeasts, and barrel-aged for 42 months.

2017 produced our boldest, age-worthy wine to date. It presents aromas of ripe cherries, chocolate, and anise complemented by complex flavors of black cherries, blueberries, and cola while it indulges you with surprisingly fine tannins and lingering finish. This little monster pairs nicely with slow-roasted mushrooms and winter root vegetables, prime rib, Moroccan food, and British farmhouse cheddars. Alcohol 15%
